Many women with a boss whom I had worked their way through the “good old boys club, condescension, contempt, and a hostile work environment for the global leader of women. Many of these women responded to these means of communication, managing as men … and even more difficult. The article reports that “The Queen Bee Syndrome is the alpha female, which seeks to preserve his power at any cost.” While I understand how women have learned to this point, it is not where we want to be. women, and the world, will benefit women in the construction of a new type of leadership. I challenge the women leaders to think differently than ever. Try the old “power-over” paradigm and a new paradigm models a quiet force, a presence on the ground and a spirit of cooperation that really mentors, rather than shame those who work under us Here are some tips to keep in mind as a woman leader.:
1. Watch the tone. Treat all employees with respect at all times.
2. Being a mentor is not a sergeant. Take the time to show them how to think, create and implement new ideas. Being punitive is the fastest way to create an angry, resentful employees. 3. Their voices heard. The absolute best way to keep your people with treatment is positive. Trust me! To listen to their ideas, encourage creative thinking and create an environment in which the door is always open. Do not let anyone on your team is to stop employees.
4. Remind yourself and your humanity. If the screw is clean. Admit mistakes with humility and grace. Modeling is excellent and compassion to create a work environment more. If your employees say they do not like something you do, listen to their comments. 5. Get centered. Remember that your value is equal to the intrinsic value of every human being to another. Being a leader is a gift. This is an opportunity to create change on a large scale. As a woman, the courage to go out and be a new kind of leader. We need leaders relational more powerful than ever. Have the courage to begin a new paradigm shift in leadership that is based on people rather than eliminate them. Start the ripple of change through the courage to depart from old constraints.
